Funktional Foods are nutrient-rich products that are a great addition to a healthy balanced diet. Each product has its own characteristics and properties.
I am a vegan, can I eat your products?
Funk yeah! All of our products have been confirmed as suitable by The Vegan Society, you can find the certification logo on our packs.
Are your products pure?
Our whole range is made up of 100% pure and natural products, this means that they contain nothing but the ingredients listed on the pack. We don’t mess about so you won’t find any nasties or fillers in our products.
I am gluten intolerant; which products can I eat?
Good news, all or our products are gluten free so you can shop in confidence.
I’ve heard spirulina can be full of heavy metals, is this true?
We take the quality of our products very seriously which is why we source from only the best producers. Our spirulina and chlorella are grown on a secluded tropical island in the South China Sea far from any sources of pollution. They are grown in purpose built freshwater pools that are lined to protect against leaching. The water is regularly tested for a wide range of nasties which include heavy metals, we then test every single batch of product before we package it to make sure it’s a good clean and nutrient rich product.
How do I use your products?
That’s a great question, the best thing to do is to head to our recipe section for some inspiration. You will also see some icons on our product pages which show our suggested ways of using the product, all you need to do then is find you favourite recipes and add the extra goodness.

How are your products harvested?
