Chocolate Coconut Protein Balls

Easy superfood protein balls supercharged with Cacao powder and our Chocolate Protein Blend. Keep those protein levels topped up all day long with the perfect nutritious on-the-go snack. Vegan, gluten-free, and low-carb.

  • 1 and a half cup old fashioned oats
  • 4 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp Funktional Foods Cacao Powder
  • 2 heaped tbsp Funktional Foods Chocolate Protein Blend
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened desiccated coconut (plus more for coating)
  • 2-3 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • drop of water (if needed)


  • Place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and stir thoroughly together. Add a drop of water if needed to help the mixture come together.
  • Roll the dough into balls using the palm of your hand (about the size of a golf ball) and coat in the extra coconut.
  • Place in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer and enjoy!
