Chocolate protein and cacao powder means double the chocolate! Keep those batteries fully charged when you’re out and about with these easy energy-boosting protein bites. You could even shape them into balls or bars - you do you. 


  • 60g Funktional Foods Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 2.5tbsp sweetener of choice (Erythritol, Coconut Sugar, Maple Syrup)
  • A couple drops of lime juice
  • 2tsp Funktional Foods Cacao Powder
  • 7.5tbsp water (may vary)
  • Optional toppings: melted vegan chocolate, a couple smashed D&Ds


  • Add all your dry ingredients to a bowl and slowly add in the water to form a dough-this should be easy to handle and not too sticky!
  • Divide into equal pieces and shape into squares!
