Delicious Vegan Chocolate Baked Oats with Cacao Powder and Protein

Lotus and Chocolate Baked Oats

Biscoff cake for breakfast? Yes please! This incredibly moreish, no fuss recipe was created by our ambassador @eatwellwithgabs. Perfect for breakfast or, with such a gooey cakey texture, even dessert!

When something tastes this good, part of you questions how it can still be healthy. Yet when you’re cooking with wholesome, plant-based ingredients, it’s entirely possible! 


  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 scoop Funktional Foods Vanilla Protein Blend
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Lotus Biscoff Spread
  • Handful Vegan Chocolate Chips
  • Vegan Chocolate sauce


  • Mash the banana and mix together all the ingredients apart from the biscoff spread in a bowl. 
  • Pour into a sprayed ramekin and add the lotus in the middle and extra chocolate chips if you want. 
  • Bake for 20-25 mins in a preheated oven at 180 degrees fan. 
  • Drizzle with chocolate sauce and enjoy!
