You might be wondering - what on earth is protein fluff? This eye-catching dessert is a marshmallowy, frozen, protein-packed ice cream... Somewhere between nice cream and a smoothie bowl (but a whisk has been added to the equation). But regardless of what it actually is, one things for sure - this low-calorie, high-protein recipe is truly delicious.

@sophie_gluten_free has even added some frozen yoghurt mermaid tails to her protein fluff recipe to complete an absolute masterpiece! 

 

Ingredients

  • 128g frozen blueberries
  • 5 chunks of frozen mango
  • 30g Funktional Foods Strawberry Protein Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Xanthan gum
  • 1/4 tsp pink pitaya powder (optional)
  • 136ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar free caramel syrup (optional)
  • Toppings:
  • One small banana
  • 1/2 tsp flax seeds
  • Frozen banana yogurt mermaid tail’s
  • Chocolate orange buttons

Method

  • Add all of your ingredients to a blender and blend until combined.
  • Transfer your mixture into a large bowl. 
  • On the highest setting, whisk your ingredients until a thick marshmallow like foam forms (5-8 minutes). 
  • Pour into a bowl, add toppings of choice & enjoy.
