The perfect pre-workout energy boost or on-the-go snack.
- 3 tbsp Funktional Foods Cacao powder, plus additional for rolling if desired
- 200g medjool dates, pitted and chopped up
- 1/2 cup (75g) cashews
- 1/2 cup (75g) almonds
- 1 level tbsp Funktional Foods Spirulina powder
- 1 tbsp Funktional Foods Maca powder
- 2 tbsp agave syrup, plus additional if required
- 2 tbsp desiccated coconut, plus additional for rolling if desired
- Simply add all the ingredients to a food processor and process until a sticky mixture is formed
- Too crumbly? Just add a dash more agave syrup and process again
- Roll mixture into a ball with your hands
- Repeat this process until the mixture is used
- Let loose with the cacao and coconut coating your balls thoroughly
- Place the balls full of energy on a plate or baking tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving
- Remove from the fridge and enjoy!
