Plant-based chocolate cacao protein smoothie

Ultimate Chocolate Protein Smoothie

Warning - We’ve reached some serious levels of chocolatey with this recipe! Featuring our brand new, deliciously smooth chocolate plant-based protein powder, this recipe is designed for the chocoholic which lives within pretty much all of us!


  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Funktional Foods Cacao Powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 ½ serving (30g) Funktional Foods Chocolate Protein powder
  • 2/3 cup vegan chocolate ice cream


  • Simply place all ingredients into a blender and whiz away until creamy and smooth. Add extra milk if the smoothie is a bit too thick for your liking. 
  • We added slices of fresh banana as well as some chia seeds on top for some extra healthy fats.
